Hardwiring a GPS on a '10 Assault, anyone done it?

Picking up my "new" (to me) 2010 RMK Assault in a few weeks and trying to get some information ahead of time. I've got a Garmin GPS 70CSx that I usually hardwire to the battery of my ATV/dirtbike, etc, but since these sleds don't have batteries, is there any way to do it? Alternator output is MORE than sufficient, as these GPS units don't pull more than a couple Watts.

Was thinking about tapping into the headlight power, if they are DC.....?
