Hardcore vs. M 8000 Alpha ONE?

To my untrained eye, I am not seeing a lot of difference....

The Hardcore has coil over shocks which the M 8000 does not

The M 8000 has electric start which the Hardcore does not

Is there a big advantage to coil over shocks for a non-hardcore rider?

Any big differences I am missing?

I think the differences are shocks, board stiffeners and color options. I am personally leaning toward the HC just for the color. Not sure on the grey yet, I need to see them in person first. I would like to hear from anyone that rode one with the new engine. Is it crisper can you feel the power difference better performance etc?

I think you are comparing the Hardcore and the Mountain cat. The base M 8000 does have coil over shocks and does not offer electric start.
