Hard cold starting pro

Have a 13 pro with a boondocker turbo. Bought it used and everytime I try to start it cold it takes about 10 to 15 pulls to get it going. Once I have it running its one pull the rest of the day. TPS is set at .698 and .94. Idles good, new reeds, tss is zip tied and taped, compression is good with new top end. Don't know if theres a sensor that it whack and not giving enough fuel for start up? Holding throttle open does nothing. Seems as if it needs a choke lol.

What fuel are you running? What altitude are you at? What outside temp is this happening at? If you have too much octane then it will start hard when cold. Higher altitude, colder temp, and high octane all make it harder to start when cold. Av gas is usually better at cold temps than race gas. Now if you are running straight pump gas then I don't know? Start with simple things first.

As a test, try holding the throttle cracked open just a smidge. I've seen Pros where that was needed. If that does it, then I would spend the money to have your dealer go through all the settings/sensors and make sure they are correct, that has always remedied the problem on the non-turbo pros I've worked on. Local dealer charges 1 hour of time to do that.

I have been running the 100% 100ll, but might start mixing in some 91 octane to get rid of my slight low end bog. It doesn't matter if it's at 2000' or 8000', it still takes at least 10 pulls. As far as temp goes, it might take a couple more pulls at 0 vs 60. The sled did this before I did the top end too. There has only been a couple of times where it's been sitting for a few days and has started on a couple pulls cold, which makes me think a sensor might be faulty? Do the injectors use cooant temp for the amount of fuel to use like a car? My buddy has a 14 pro with the same setup and might try switching some parts to try and figure it out. I'll try opening a smidge to see if that works. Thanks for the input!

How much boost are you running and do you have an inter cooler. Talk to the turbo builder and run what they recommend. I usually burn at tad mor race gas just in case I get some bad 92.
