Happy with Bowl Match-ups?

I personally think this coud be one of the best bowl series ever. I wish Boise State or TCU had a chance to play for the national championships. Sorry Texas fans, not as impressed with Texas especially after Nebraska. Oregon will probably kill my Buckeyes and Cincinnati may squeek past Florida.

Everybody is afraid to play TCU or BSU...thus the repeated match-up. TCU is much better than last year, should be a good one. USC got out of having to play BYU or Utah, good thing b/c they would of had an 8-5 season Should be some fun match ups though.....can't wait!

Should be a good match-up but feel that BS and TCU are not getting a game that will ultimately prove themselves in the whole realm of college football especially after playing each other in a bowl game last year. Kind of a slap in the face if you ask me. I really think TCU could compete with anyone right now and it's a shame they can't prove what they are worth. Real buzz kill if you ask me. Go Longhorns!!! and go OREGON ST!!!!

The BCS screwed TCU and Boise. Playing each other proves nothing, nada, zilch and those azzhats know it. Must be afraid to match those teams up against the "big boys", especially TCU this year. ****in cowards, protect the "power conferences". Should have been TCU vs Cincy.

bigrock - you're right, the match-up will allow for "well, they only played BSU" or "they only played TCU", but it will still be a great game. i did hear a lot of sportscasters saying that bama and texas are probably thanking their lucky stars they don't have to plaly TCU or BSU. i'm not sure utah or byu will pull out a w in their bowls.

Should be a great game with TCU and BSU but I have to admit that I am disspointed that they are not playing the likes of Florida or Cincy. The so-called 'mid-major' conferences like to prove they can beat a quality BCS conference team like Utah did last year. This may have been a good regional situation fot the Fiesta bowl.
BTW, the Bama game was great. They looked hungry and their defense kept Tebow mostly contained all night. I was really impressed with McElroy. He played for the win all night long. The balancing act on the sideline was great.

BUT...enough football. LET IT SNOW!! Cedar City is expected to get pounded!

TCU is the best team in Texas right now. There's no question they should be playing Alabama for the national championship.

I'm not a TCU fan, but I think there the best team in the country this year. It really sucks they have to play BSU. I think BSU could beat Cincy, or FL, and prove to everybody they deserve a shot also.

I think Bama's gonna put a hurtin on Texas.

The BCS got exactly what they wanted (except bama instead of florida). Yet again TCU and BS got left out of the big games, because they each should have had the opportunity to play someone from a power conference instead of each other.

TCU BSU got hosed they are to great team who will never realize their potential this season, it will be a great game but I am a huge believer in defense and TCU has IMHO the best in the country so Im picking TCU.

The BCS is BS! The Best teams dont get recognition because they dont bring in the money like the bigger programs. TCU and Boise State (Utah last year) should have a chance to win a National Championship! Undefeated teams should have some type of a playoff rather than having a computer decide who is the champion. In my opinion I think TCU could beat anybody this year. I would have loved it if Utah played USC and kicked their butts. Utah has the longest bowl winning streak in the Nation. They win their bowls because the BCS wont let them play big programs because they dont want to have their computer prooven a hoax. The coolest part of sports is the Cinderella story teams that should have no chance run the table and shock the world. The current system wont allow this to happen and it is a travesty!

you're all right on. the bcs protected themselves by pushing cinci up to play florida. they don't want bama or florida to lose so they can show that their program "works".

I think TCU is playing the best football in the country right now. I think they should be playing Alabama! Although a Texas fan, they have sucked their past 2 games. McCoy lost the Heisman on Saturday.

TCU vs. Boise will be a good game, but disgraces the Mtn. West and WAC, and the BCS bastages know it! Cinci barely beat Pitt. I think Texas should be playing Boise. Cinci and Florida. And, as said, Alabama and TCU for the championship. With 4 teams without losses.....still shows a playoff is needed! Othewise, it is only a championship on paper!

FIESTA BOWL HERE I COME! GO FROGS!

I went to San Diego last year and watched BSU/TCU and it was an awesome game! Cant wait to see it again on the big stage. It will be the best bowl game for sure. TCU squeaks out a win with solid D and is named the Peoples champion. Forget for a moment that these teams are not BCS schools - Undefeated #3 vs undefeated #5. What a great game!!!

My Chokeeyes will have their hands full with Oregon.

Who cares about the championship, cinci will be exposed in the sugar, the orange bowl is stupid.

BYU loses the vegas bowl again as quiz rogers runs wild on their slow defense.

Utes score alot of points as they always play well in bowl games, just enough to squeak out a win against a decent cal team.

Air force pulls out all the stops and shuts down the high octane attack of Housten.

Bowden and FSU play with too much emotion and lose bobby's final game.

Any other games i missed?

The BCS is so spineless and chicken. Everybody knows that TCU got screwed, but I do have to say that I really thought that they were not even going to give BSU a game so that is good. I am not a big TCU fan myself but they can flat out play football and by far the best team in texas. Totally dismanteled BYU and the U, and while i don't think either of them are alot to write home about, they are not bad either. The computers suck and really screwed the public this year. It is to bad.

BCS paired them together because they COULDN'T snub boise two years in a row and couldn't stand the thought of two nonAQ's winning big bowl games.
