Hans Peak ride 01-24-10 **Lost Sledders**

Rode from Steamboat Lake SP around back side of Hans Peak. It's snowing like crazy up here today. Even on the groomed trails in the trees 8-12" of fresh and more tonight. Windblown on the North and East side of Hans Peak so it was all powder. Even the wife had a blast. (until I said I think we go this way). To the guy we met @ Dutch Creek, good BSing with ya. Hope your ride when well.

Steamboat Springs paper this morning said there's 5 guys that didn't return last night. Search crews out this morning. Conditions yesterday got nasty in a hurry. Heavy snow and white-out conditions. This morning calm and sunny.

Hope they come sleddin' out today!!!
