Handwarmers

Who has put them on a 04 600 HO, I see two connections that are open, one has to leads and the other one lead. They all look like they would except and cylindrical plug. Is there handwarmers that plug right into these?

In not will any old warmers do? Where do you tie them in?

Any onfo would be great

Thanks
TonyC

Hey Tony you connect to the yellow wire for power and ground to the chasis . We just use your generic stick type , weve also found that with the heavy handle bars being so thick that the left side doesnt heat very well so we put two stick on warmers on the left and one on the right cause its on the twist plastic and it gets twice as hot as the left side this has worked well for us and they heat pretty evenly this way

So any yellow wire coming out of the MPEM, just splice into it?

Not any yellow wire!

TCSBIKE use the lead with one wire (Yellow).

I mounted mine yesterday that way, and it work's nice.
I will try in cold weather this weekend, maybe the left handle will be a little bit colder as Hawkdoggen said.

Good luck

/Thomas

There is a single yellow wire with a termination plug on it that should be tied to the main harness just under the mpem. You can either cut off the plug and splice into the wire, or get a weather pack pin to go inside of the connector for a cleaner look. I am pointing to the connector wit a pen in the picture, and the wire is between the steering stem, and the recoil rope pulleys.
