Handwarmers inconsistant???

On my 08 Nytro MTX I have the Yamaheater installed along with the RSI heaters. The grips are working now and get hot. My problem is my controller automatically scrolls the temp. settings and if or when it stops it usually stops at one of the higher settings, I notice it when my hands are burning up. I usually set it at a lower setting. I occasionally notice on the gauges that it scrolls through the temp. settings. Has anyone seen this before or have an idea what is going on.

happens all the time cuz the switches are in the way and they always get bumped on mine
