Another great class Mike! Our whole crew thanks you, we were glad to have some different scenarios from what we usually practice.

THANKS!!!

All of you were great students and nailed the scenario. The weather was perfect up there. I was very impressed with how everyone worked as a team and the communication. You found three beacons, and two buried bags(without beacons) in 9 minutes. Excellent job! I wish I could have gone riding with you afterwards. I hope to ride with you sometime this season. Thanks for the feedback. Mike

Anytime!, I'd be curious to see your opinion of where we play, we've got some great terrain over here. (it won't be at Vail pass as you can see from Abby's comment in her post! hehe)

Class update:
I've been doing some beacon drills with some people I ride with and quite surprised at how many are not proficient with their beacons. Some were unsure of how to switch the beacon to search. The results have been rather bad in the first search.

There are still openings for the class on the 7th and 11th.

sign up suckas!

you think you can save your bro, spend $40 and prove it.

We practice pretty often & our groups definately improved greatly on the 3rd & 4th scenario, you'll learn a lot about your crew when you see what they would do if you were dying.

It's worth the time & $$.

Avy course

Sweet, I am gonna sign up my buddy and myself for this weekend (7th), since it ends at 1pm it will give us ~3 hours to try to put our training to good use on Vail Pass :)

Great Class Mike! Truely appreciate your knowledge, not to mention got to meet some great people. Thanks again, Lance

Mike, thanks again for the great class today. Definitely the best $40 I have spent in a long time. If anybody is considering this class, don't wait just doo it.

Thanks everyone for taking the class. You guys did great! Three beacons found in the rescue scenario in six minutes. What's interesting is that both groups found the beacons fast, but were not able to find the duffel bag buried without a beacon in the ten minutes given for the rescue scenario. I even knew where the bag was buried and it still took a total of 23 minutes to find it. Just shows that if you don't have a beacon and get buried, it is usually very hard to find a person. Hope you guys had a great ride afterwards. Mike

Thought the course was great, good company, and learned a lot. Thanks, Mike.

We did have a nice little ride afterward, even a little comedy. I won't say which SkiDoo was upside down in the little creek, pointed downhill, and what Cat pulled into the creek going uphill before the Doo was out, and which Poo attacked a tree. All around, no damage!
Heard someone got lost up on Vail this weekend, no details.
