Handlebar vibration

5 brand new 800 Pros and 1 brand new 600 Pro went on our break in ride this
past weekend. As we were cruising down a river everyone in our group
had to stop because our throttle hands completely went numb from the vibration. Brake hand was OK and yes I was varying the throttle. I have a 2011 Pro and have had some tingling in my hands but never had one hand go
completely numb. Anyone else have this problem or am I just getting old and have bad circulation?

I'm having the same problem in recent years on different sleds.

Trying to nail down a solution.

I've just received a tube of the Bar Buzz Kill and will be injecting my bars with this here soon... I want a back to back test and will be doing this on the mountain to check it out...

My friends swear by it in their MX/ATV stuff.

.

I havent had that issue yet. I have noticed that my throttle hand gets a little sore but I have just blamed it on the positioning of the throttle and lack of seat time on the sled. Got to get broke in for the year :face-icon-small-win

Let me know if it works Mountainhorse. I thought about putting rubber O rings in the 4 bolts that hold the handlebars thinking that might lessen the vibration also.

There is only one solution - Isovibe Riser from Grip n Rip Racing is what you're after. It uses urethane bushings to isolate motor vibration and jarring from jumps. I'll put my bars and riser setup against anyone on this forum and bet my life that they don't have a better setup; have them on all my sleds. It adds some rise so you need to go with lower rise bars to keep he height down (I use the Fly mini-bend bars which are 3" lower than Pro Tapers).

Try installing Brad's PAR long rod kit. I have heard this greatly reduces vibrations.:face-icon-small-ton

I had the Isovibe on a few sleds... The first one was the notorious 900 "paint shaker" RMK.

High quality unit... and it does work really well... changed the character of the 900 "night and day"

Since then, I've used the Barsnake product and have had the same good results as the IsoVibe...even on the 900's.

From my Harley friends that have used the Bar Snake Product... I've heard that Bar Buzz Kill is working equally as well for them... with easier install and less cost.

Which is why I'm trying it.

I'll get back with everyone on what I find.

The isovibe on my ole 900.

Funny, I have felt the Pro smooth compared to my Cats lol. The thumb lever is a bit odd though.

I notice my sled is smoother (from idle up) in ethanol mode. Anyone else. Easy to try.
