I have an 02 mountain cat 800. How high can I raise the bars before I have to extend the brake/throttle/wiring?

I had a 3" riser with stock cables.

4"- BUT,,,,,
you can't turn without straining the cables. Also, the taller you keep bars the higher you can get away with. I have 2" risers & bars are bent back towards seat & the throttle cable rubs when I crank steering- I'm 6'-2" tall too. But at 2" rise...it works fine. 4" or taller would mandate longer cables/wires 4-sure!!!

Tried the 3". Ended up pulling my throttle cable box apart and my TPS went crazy when I'd give it gas after i taped the box back up. When I held the throttle constant it would go and then bog, go and bog. Should have test driven it before i took it out into the mountains
