Handlebar Riser

What handlebar riser do you use and how does it work for you?
I am also looking for input on ice scratchers? What brand are the best for the buck?
Thanks,
Jake

I'm 5'11" and use Skinz riser bars with built in mountain hooks with a 4" rise. I didn't have to get cable extensions and they look super clean. For scratchers, RSI's are sweet and look really clean too.

I've been looking at RSI bars and risers. Also there scratchers. What about handlebars, are chromoly the only way to go or can you use aluminum. Seems like aluminum wouldn't be strong enough.

Powermadd with powermadd pivot adapter.....it is a solid block and uses bolts rather than allen keys which are absolute trash IMO. Very solid product and much better than the RSI/Fly setup I had.

i also run the powermadd pivot addapter with a 6inch pivot block. so far, so good for me.

I'm 6'5" with an XP. 3.5 or so rise powertaper from fly got me as high as possible without extending the brake line and I am stoked. I can stand straight up and ride with bent elbows. You also have to get the little adapter blocks to go from 7/8 to 1 1/8.

I use a 7" XP riser and a RSI pivot adaport which gets me up to about an 8" riser.

im 5'11" and run an 8 1/2 pivot riser from powermadd on my edge and have had no problem with them either.

I've had mixed reviews with risers all together.. Serious hredders have complained that their risers bend or even snap with too much strain on them. This could prove very dangerous as I had a friend who raced quads and he used a riser (not sure what type) and the riser broke on a landing after a fairly large jump, the impact snapped the bars, thrust his body onto the broke riser, and the broken tines on the riser impaled him and ended up being his demise. very say story but personally I don't lie them.. I simply cut my steering shaft, inserted an internal riser 4" and welded them all solid.. It might not look as sporty but as for functionality and safety it worked great! I can put massive amounts of torque on my bars and they neither bend or break! When I finish my build I will have a gallery of pictures in my profile for anyone interested in this technique

i have the carbon fiber bars, they are aluminum inside, seem to be working good, i;ve used aluminum bars on my dirtbike and sleds for awhile now, the ones that are tuff are the fatboy style, 1 1/8, they are way stronger then stock bars thats for sure

any one use the rox height adjustable? i have a 6 inch riser now and i might get the 4-5.5 adjustable one. you can add a 1 riser to it and levers to adjust it without tools, i would like them for ripping the trail then when out in the snow lifting them back up.

Risers are quick and easy.

The Fabcraft setup is nice too.
