Handlebar Options?

I have a 2010 600 RMK. Just picked it up about a month ago. The price was real right... I'm loving this sled! I installed a 6" riser but was wondering if I could switch out the bars to get a little more height/width. I am 6'5" tall. I have the Pro Tapers on both of my PRO's and I like the feel of them. They seem wider. I do like the fact that my controls are all within thumb reach unlike my PRO's. The one thing I noticed is that my IQ 600 will cook your hands/thumb. The PRO will not. Is this due to a steel vs. aluminum bar?

Is this a feasible idea or should I just order a 8-8.5" riser? And are the wires long enough to go much higher?

The 09 & 10 Dragons came with the Protaper bars, but the the controls (that you are liking) were then mounted down on the cowling. You can do some re-routing of the wires and cables, but I don't think they have enough slack for as much riser as you are wanting. Check the classified section for a picture of a Dragon to see the bar setup.
