Handlebar bags

Hey guys,
Going to the dealer in the morning for a 20% off accessories Black Friday Sale. My question pertains to the difference and fitment of 2 particular bags on a 2012 Pro Rmk with Pro Taper Handlebars.

The first is Part Number: 2879663, The Extreme Pro Taper Riser Bag. The Polaris website says this bag does not fit a 2012. It is $75 before discount.

The second is Part Number: 2878187, The Black Riser Bag. The Polaris website says this bag does fit a 2012. It is $55 before discount.

Does anyone know if the extreme DOES indeed fit on a 2012? I didn't think there was any changes to bars except the TD SERIES. Does anyone know what the differences are between these 2 bags? I am sure neither will be in stock so I will not get a chance to see in person.

Extreme bag fits all tall pro tapers for sure. May be too long for the new short ones.

Both bags will fit all sleds with the regular height pro taper bars. The extreme bag is bigger..

Well I bought the bigger extreme bag sight unseen. It's hard to find rmk accessories stocked most places in MN. Hopefully it works out. Hard to beat the deals they were having though.

I also stopped at Pro Power Sports in Anoka, MN. For you guys in MN they are also having deals Saturday. 15% off storewide INCLUDING parts, even special orders. Which is the only dealer I found doing that.

Their prices did seem somewhat inflated but I think still a little cheaper than Polaris Parts House when you factor in shipping.
