what bars are you guys using after you bend up the stock ones?
i was looking at a set of fat 1 1/8 bars but am worried about not being able to fit a mountain bar and the stock controls back on them . there going on a nytro with RSI risers so i can use 7/8 or 1 1/8 by just changing a spacer

The 1 1/8" diameter bars taper back down to 7/8" to accomodate your controls etc.

Fabcraft makes a nice mountain bar for any h/bar. Run the Fly carbon tapered bars. You will be very happy.

All of our RSI bars will fit your stock controls except the race bend bars. The Race bend bars have hooks pre-bent into the bars and unless your controls are a two piece design they will not slide over the bend of the hooks. If you want a hooked bars you can slide your controls over the bars and then bolt in our RSI hooks.

thanks ! what bend do you guys think would be closet to stock ? and do i need new hand warmer or can i use the old ones ?

I like the back country bend.
They do have about 3 1/4" of rise and a very comfortable sweep.
The carbon wrapped ones are really nice in that they allow your hand warmers to work better than with the straight aluminum.
You are pretty much going to tear your hand warmer pads if you try to take them off your stock bars.
Get stock replacement pads for not much $$$ and just unplug your old ones when you pull the bars, and just plug in the new ones when you mount up the new bars.

I still wrap the carbon with electrical tape. Just a little extra heat

Next time try the silver heat tape and that will work even better.
