Hand Warmer Install Help and Info

Hello all!
I've got an 04 Hawk 600 that I’m going to try and install a set of hand warmers on. Just wondering if anyone on here has done this and could give me a few pointers.
After reading the directions it seems pretty straight forward. The only thing I’m worried about is finding a power source for them. is there a wire there for hand warmers and accessories or will I need to tap into the headlight power wire?
I remember reading a few years back that some sleds produce AC current.
The hand warmers I have are DC warmers. Does the hawk put out DC?

single

should be a single yellow acc. wire with a cap on it in the harness that you can use. use some heat shrink on the left handle bar before installing the hand warmer. good to go then

you can also run 2 heat elements on the left side since the alloy bars suck up some heat compared to throttle side....

I use the KTM grip warmer kit. It has the warmers installed into the grip and don't present the problem of heat sinking like a foil directly in contact with the bars.

Those heated grip's you are using. I have just bought a set of the gripped hand warmer's, the yellow wire connection was easy to find. Is there a ground wire that you had to bolt on somewhere.

Thank's
-Tom

you can just ground it to the frame on the right side of frame with the rest of your electrical grounds , (just above recoil on inside of rail )
