Hand/thumb warmer issues on 14 pro?

First ride on new sled handwarmers and thumb warmer didn't work. Tried high and low. Checked the switch, it was plugged in, after a day of riding the handwarmers seemed to be doing something but definitely not hot, thumb warmer was ice cold, got it in the shop and the switch ohms out correctly, the handwarmers and thumb warmer are in spec according to dealer, the yellow feed wire to the switch may be the issue as far power supply problem Idk. Anyone else have similar problem?

had mine quit working. it was the connection at the switch, if you fire it up in the shop it should get hot fast if they are working.

My '14 heat grips and thumb heater generate just the right amount of heat on high only. On low they are barely noticeable.

I would cork your bars, these aluminum bars suck all of the heat right out.
I corked mine last year, night and day difference!
I have yet to cork the bars on my 14 and the handwarmers are all but useless!
Don't know the solution to the thumb warmer though

The grips on my 14 SBA seem ok but I can't run them for very long because the thumb warmer gets lava hot even on low! I hate to cut into the harness but I ordered he RSI switch to separate the thumb warmer.

I have to check voltage on the feed wire yet, otherwise i think I'll put the RSI heaters and switch in and see what happens

If you're grips don't get hot, I would cork them. Dont waist money on rsi grips , I could not tell the difference over stock grips. Just my jmo

On my assault my grips are always warm enough. Its just my thumb warmer. It almost acts like a thermostat. Hot when I first ride then later it cools off and then back on a bit later. I normally ride when its -20 to -35.

The yellow feed wire to switch basically has no voltage running, flickered maybe 0-.5 volt running, anyone know where that wire ends up or pulls voltage from?

anybody know what they should be? i have around 10 to 11 VAC on both high and low
