WTF is with all the dummy's that think they need to tell me how many more dumbass' are behind em???? Why don't ya just keep two hand's on the bars?? Seems safer to me, I almost got waxed yesterday by some dude that looked like the Klim dummy :eyebrows: when he held his 2 fingers out and drifted into my side of the trail. However, the one that really cracks me up is the dummy at the back with the closed fist LMAO, what your the last guy on the whole trail so its safe for me to ride on the left side around blind corners now, LMAO. I guess there is a time and place for it but it seems lame in the mountains :face-icon-small-dis :beer;

It is communications to keep your speed down until all the riders have passed. I believe this method of communications was agreed upon by most of the snowmobile associations. If you can't drive as fast with one hand while passing someone, then maybe that person needs to slow down...

It can be useful at times...

This thread has nothing to do with hand signals. If you read between the lines it was designed as a Klim bashing thread.

What do hands signals have to do with Klim.

Your a punk.

Personally, I like to know how many more are behind the lead rider. Both dirt and snow and yes, I wear Klim. Stupid me I guess, I like to be warm and dry....

It's summer & winter trail etiquette and a courtesy.
You obviously don't care for such things.

Damn I cant believe how gay you two sound :flypig: I have Klim boots and gloves. good stuff just laugh when I see fags that cant ride decked out to the hilt........... "between the lines" LMAO boy nothin gets by a sharp lil fella like you LOL :yo: lighten up francis

i dunno I kinda like the hand signals of knowing how many people you are coming up on. never had the problem of veering to the left though.

These will even be in the manual that come with your sled. They are a good thing. It's nice to know how many in a specific group. :)

We use them ALWAYS when out riding. It's courtesy, and yes, if someone can't drive at the same time......then they are going too fast.

X 2.It's amazing how many people have no clue as to what it means.
People on rental sled's are the worst,they just smile and wave at you:face-icon-small-con.

We use hand signals, particularly in areas where there are blind corners or hills. You know, where it might be helpful for someone to know that the very narrow trail they are about to ascend has two more of our group coming down it. That type of thing. I don't take my hands off the bar if it's not safe to do so, and don't want others to do it if they can't control their equipment without both hands, but if they can it's nice to know what's around that blind corner.
