hand guard for gen ll

i am planning to buy the hand guard for my 00 rmk but i am not sure if it will fit on handler bar without removing something on handler bar. any question or pic would help. thanks

They'll fit.

I have the sportech on mine. They are fine.

I'd go with a plastic variety than the ones that crack easily from sportech.

I have Acerbis "Flag" guards and I ordered them with a custom mount kit that replaced the stock brake/throttle control backplate that was sled specific, it takes up zero additional space on the bars. I cant remember where I got them from though.

I make SOFT hand guards. They will not break if you have the miss fortune of a ga-dunk-a-dunk. Quick, easy to install and roll up if and store if you would rather not ride with them on. I would put duct tape on the back of my gloves when it was really cold to block the wind, got tiresome.

Sportech handguards are a great choice. I've had mine on for something like 3 years and they look just like the day I put them on. They've held up pretty good for me and I use and abuse these too. All of the handguards on the market are pretty good to be truthful..... just my 02

RSI makes a great product!

I rolled my sled 3 times right before this pic was taken and if you notice all that happened was that the hand guard became loose on the right side. I tightened it up at the truck and its good as new!
