Low temp at 6200 feet low 23 F high 39 F
Forecast model has gone from 1.5-2.5 for Truckee area to 2.0 to 3.3 inches water computed 27 oct 2151PST !
Shasta area 1-3 inches with 6 inches on the Northern California coast !
Elko only a sprinkle .25 inches
Even Tulare county suppose to get .5 inches H2O !

As of now storm is "splitting" Instead of originally hitting Donner pass a doing a HUGE dumping the entire storm is gonna "slide down the face" of the Sierra Nevadas ... even to San Diego !
So LESS moisture EAST and west and more north and south.
Likelihood of storm to hit as predicted ... 75 plus percent probability.
High SATURDAY 1 NOV for TRUCKEE IS NOW 34F low 22F with snow all day 1 to 2.5 feet depending on what forecast you like to believe

Storm is still on ... several forcasters have bumped water amounts a little ... .25 to 1 inch

Coldest part of storm is past for mammoth Tahoe area... warming trend start NOW so Sunday will be above freezing north of fresno while an abrupt cold freezing in places like BIG BEAR where it will be in the teens Sunday morning.
Most of storm for snow ends noon today with 25percent chance storm till noon sunday.

I'm going to take the kids up in the morning and see if I can't get a mile or two in on the m8 while I'm at it.

There was about 8 inches of snow at 7k and it was going fast when we left at 12. The kids got to slide down the hill a few times and I towed them around a bit too.
