Halloween ride - VIDEO from Motorfist

maybe not the best... understand the intent... but want to bet the anti-snowmobile crowd already has this video for fund raising and using it for continued efforts to end ALL off trail snowmobiling on federal lands...

uh.. what?

uh.. what?

the dark side (enviro Nazis) is trying (and have at least in one court case won) to have snowmobiles classified as a "motor vehicle" for use on US federal lands... what this change would cause would be snowmobiles would be regulated like motorcycles, trucks, ATVs and would no longer be legal to ride off designated roads.

Videos that show trees and brush being ran over by a snowmobile are used for fund raising for the dark side as examples why snowmobiles need to be further regulated. Sadly it is going to happen the question is will it be sooner or later?... videos like this although cool are picked up and used as examples of what snowmobiles do to the "pristine" forests... personally I think it is  and BS; however I do not think we should give them video examples to help their cause

Yep I agree with a couple comments here. While it might be funny you could have left out the part about cutting down trees and bushes. We really need to do more education with all of us snowmobiles ( me included.) Respect the environment! If we don't we will not have anything left to ride on. Go back and take out the part with the guy in the trees and cutting it for no apparent reason.
Yes there are situations that might warrant cutting of trees or bush waking but that should be a last resort. Did anyone see the guys that pushed over some rocks in goblin valley this summer? They destroy the environment and then post it up for everyone to see. Not very wise!!! Not sure if they got prosecuted or not yet but they can no longer be a part of the scouting program. Our actions have consequences and we will be held responsible for our actions. When you do something like this you are putting a bad label on the entire industry of sledding wether you think so or not. Those enviro guys look for this kind if stuff all the time and use it against us to shut down our riding areas. Sorry this was such a long rant but we seriously need to start thinking about our actions and the consequences that may come of it.
