Halfway?

I'll be heading up to Halfway tomorrow for the first time with a couple friends and was curious to see if anybody has been up there recently (the last week or so). How are the snow conditions and are they predicting any new snow over the next 24 hours?

Thanks in advance.

no snow reported for tomorrow

was there 2 weeks ago and it rocked, don't know current conditions, sorry

av8er, thanks for the post.

The snow down low was terrible but as you climbed the mountain the snow got better and better. It was an absolutely perfect blue bird day and those that live close to Halfway, I'm jealous! You guys have some of the best riding in the state of Oregon.

Hey there weighttrain_2000 are you of of those guys that rode with us this last weekend?

FOXYRMK,

Yep, that's me. I'm the one that got challenged while trying to follow you up the mountain. Lol... We had a great time and look forward to riding with you guys again in the future. However, I'll be more prepared next time:) I now understand why you guys ride Halfway more often then Tollgate.

BTW, my buddy was sure impressed with the way your sled handled climbing that mountain. We both felt like we were riding dinosaurs all day. Lol

Thought I would weigh in with my trip to Halfway

I just returned to Atlanta after 10 days in Halfway. I was there from the 18th through the 29th of March.

The conditions were really good, except for one day when it was snowing up top and pouring down in the valley.

I have to say it was some of the very best sledding I have found in Halfway.

Did you guys happen to run into a Polaris 900 IQ, AC M8 Sno Pro, and a AC 2006 M7 with a bunch of other sleds as well? (close to 9 or 10 total).
We ran into several large groups while we were down at the warming hut below TableTop or in the meadows below Sugar Loaf.

Maybe it was on you folks?

I have a few pics I will try to get put on here....:face-icon-small-ton

It was fun riding with you guys too! So.... being more prepared for next time, it's going to be newer sleds or less clothes. LOL...

Nope wasn't us halfwayM7, we did see other groups as well on Saturday, but they were either Doo's or Poo's. BUT! we did see ya in the bar on Friday night and Saturday nights. :face-icon-small-coo If I'm thinking right on who you were.
