Halfway Conditions

Spring riding my ars!
Rode the 13th, 14th & 15th. Got fresh stuff every day. A foot or more in most places and the north slopes were nice and soft.
It was great riding if I've ever seen it.
I'll get some pics posted a little later.

Hey Al,

Coming out on Wednesday and I should be in the valley by 2 or 3:00 pm. I am staying for a week. How many days do you get to come out and play?

Bringing out my nephew and he has no idea as to what is waiting for him. He is a flatlander from PA and thinks a 3500' elevation is a tall mountain. Come to think of it, he is getting his first plane ride @ 15 yrs.

I heard there was a bunch of new powder and SmashCat confirmed it.

I am sooooooo looking forward to this trip...

Let me know how you have been doing,, really looking forward to getting some powder in my face fairly quickly!!!!

This weekend was my first trip to Halfway...plan to head back soon! Here are a few pics, taken Sunday morning since Friday and Saturday weren't so clear. In the first pic, our 4 tracks are the only ones on the hill...must be one of them secret areas

Been raining hard here in town today with temps near freezing should be lots of new up high - but - forecast is for more of the same for the next 10 days or so. Best chance for somewhat of a break is maybe Sat/Sun but who knows for sure. It looks like another wet spell is decending on us.

Oh - that could be, depending on the weather, any day but Thursday.

It just keeps on piling up. It's been snowing most all day here in town.

It looks to be good so far. Some new snow the last few days but not sure how much.

Going up today and the sun is out it looks like it's going to be a bluebird day.

Forecast is for clear skies on Sat but possibly a little snow on sunday.

If you and Lisa come down maybe get a chance to meet up OK
