Just took a little stroll over to BCR to have a look at a friends sled that he wrecked last week and found out that my account has been deleted!!!!! Not an alter account, not a trouble-making account, just an account to browse around to see if there is anything worth looking at, but apparently I am not BCR material

On top of that, did you know that all the main forums are PRIVATE!!!!! How does a site expect to prosper and gain more members and better info if nobody as a guest can even SEE what the site is all about? Register and post or get the heck out!!!!!

I'm not mis-construing anything here. I was a member and through no action or knowledge of my own, I was completely removed. On SW, you have to break the rules repeatedly to be denied access, AND anybody and there dog can register AND post for free, OR view the forum as a guest... being a guest is not a crime here. Also, if you don't like the extras that have been added to this forum, you do not have to pay for them, there will be free memberships that don't have all the shiny new features that some don't like.

I just find it funny that if the ownership over there doesn't like you, they completely forget about you without warning... once again, I am glad to have Snowest

That is my biggest turn off about some forums, having to register to view info... it's not hard to register or anything. It's just something that I don't want to do in order to view a piece of information, and I'd probably never view that forum again.

Fordguy Seems to me that you are doing the same thing now to another site that Snowest moderators have moderated so heavily against here on snowest. Seems also to me that anyone can say anything they want on the internet and it can not be proven toi be fact or lie. How can anyone know for sure that your account has been deleted? Yea you could give us your sign on info and we could try for ourselves and be denied but then how would we know for sure that the log on info you gave us was correct. I guess the only true way of knowing for sure that you have been deleted is to have one of BCR's administrators come on here and tell us the truth. Were you deleted or are you lying? Also you can veiw any thread overthere all you have to do is register! Big deal! What is the problem with that. All they are doing is keeping track of people and who they are. Like maybe mods from snowest. So what!!! As most of you mods here have said. It is their site and they can run it the way they like. And if you don't like it you can leave.

I just find it all a little funny is all and thought it was worth sharing. I am not picking a fight with you, or anyone else, merely sharing what came as a shock to me... If you never did register then your credibility just took a huge hit.

I only see 500-600 users on SW on an average visit these days - used to see 1200-1400 or more. (members, not guests!) Maybe a few more from time to time. The safety factor in quoting 37,000 registered members is a fantasy.

Now, out of that ~500 people, what % will actually pay to post while the thousands of lurkers read for free? Dream on.

Time to re-visit the business planning stage.

Time for SW to step up and put a new face on this place, or warm up the VISA machine and start getting ready for the closing day sale.

94FORDGUY HAS BEEN COMING ON BCR AND THEN RUNNING BACK TO THE MOD FORUM ON SW AND CALLING US THIEVES FOR THE POSTS THAT HAVE BEEN COPIED AND PASTED FROM THERE TO HERE. HE PLAYS THE INNOCENT CHILD THINKING THAT I DONT KNOW WHATS GOING ON. SO BE IT.
