I have removed the hac box and put on some pods, the sled still seems to run great. The sled has a little head work and a set of slp twins, Only running at low elevation. I haven't removed all the hoses that were connected to the box and carbs, its kinda all just hanging there , to remove them will it be as simple as just capping them?

Yep, as stated. Leave the carb bowl lines open to atmosphere and try to get them to the outside atmosphere. There is typically a negative pressure in the airbox that will be less than what the outside atmosphere is, meaning that if you vent to atmosphere, you can usually jet down a few sizes as the atmospheric pressure will be more than the negative pressure in the airbox. Be careful and don't just assume you can jet down right away if your plugs and wash look good already. The summits came with a sea level baseline already, so you probably are close if you are low in elevation. Double check and make sure that SLP's pipes weren't for a higher elevation, some (like Jaws and Crankshop's) are. Not sure about the SLP's. If you do nothing other than disconnect the lines, you WILL run extremely rich. My memory is fuzzy, but I believe that the Summits are jetted around the 340-350 range, with pilots being 65-70. At sea-level, after removal of the HAC, I drop down to the 290-310 range, and go with 50-55 pilots. This is standard MXz jetting, and works well. I find that 290-310 is actually slightly rich for me, and I usually end up around 280-300, but it depends on the sled. Get the specs for an MXz 670 at your elevation, start with that jetting for a baseline, and monitor your plugs/wash, and go from there. You will never miss the HAC....
 
look inside the throat of the carb and at the bottom you will find a brass slot screw, this must be removed when removing the HAC. ask around and you will confirm.. Talk to Big John he helped me with mine back in the day...
