If anyone rides Saturday 3/18 could you post the parking and road up to the cabin conditions please? Thanks

Parking is still down at 28 Mile Creek. We have cleared the road of snow and with the warm rain it has been melting the ice off of the road quickly. It is mostly a sheet of ice all the way up to the up to the Pyramid Sno-Park. Waiting on FS approval to open the road to vehicle traffic.
Thank you for chiming in and the great info. If you could let us know about the FS decision about the gate that would be awesome. Thanks
I might add also sheet of ice is slippery like you wouldn't believe, would have to chain up any wheeled vehickle in fact the groomer is riding a sled to the grooming machine, fresh snow starts at a little past y, and snowed 2 to 3 in before we returned, went to r.roost and whistling jacks , but raining there , snowing on west side, super slippery ice make sure to use ice scratchers if you got them.
How was Ice Hill?
Thanks for the reply. You are right..no issues driving up and very bare. I actually wasn't even sure where the lower lot is because no one was parked there...is it where guys typically shoot their firearms? There was a good group at the pit today. Anyway, glad we went. Trails were good and the snow was great (great job on the trails snowrider) Good scouting for future trips, looks like plenty of fun to be had in some of those cuts! I was the single machine riding 2-up on the mountain sled if you passed me...gotta keep the wife happy..
Can anyone give me a rough idea of the distance between the lower snowpark and pyramid? Could I park at the lower lot and ride the sled from there? I haven't been up there before and was hoping to take the wife on a little trail ride tomorrow. Dont want to chance the road with her in the vehicle unless I'm confident I can make it. Ive got plenty of experience driving in winter conditions, and do have winter tires, but no chains.
