Tow in for no start....173.00, diagnose poor fuel problem 1.0 @ 80 bucks. Cut open fuel filter to find rancid fungus. pull front and rear tanks, pull sending units, rear one broke on removal due to rusted into flange..need new sending unit. Flush tanks, dispose of 40 gallons of rancid fungus diesel..disposal fee plus customer lost fuel. Run new fuel through lines and try to clean all supply and returns. Fresh fuel and test. I would be willing to bet this bill is well north of 1300 bucks! and this may not be the end of it. We will see how his injectors clean up!!! BTW, GM will not warranty injectors with known fuel contaminents.. So if you want to run this stuff beware.
I would sure not be using this stuff in my truck! Heck we had one guy who did this process 3 times before he learned, and his truck took injectors twice!!
Sorry no pics of rancid fuel in tanks he had them sent off to be cleaned already.
