For those of you running BD kits with the tunnel dump exhaust on an M chassis and an anti-stab ..

Did you have to trim your exhaust deflector to clear the MAG-side outer anti-stab wheel?

I just got done putting the anti-stab wheels on my 09' and got all the way done and was like *DOH* exhaust deflector is there.

I haven't yet deflated the shocks and forced the skid up to see if it clears, its gonna be close one way or the other..

Ill probably wind up just trimming the deflector but I thought I'd post here to see if anyone else might have had the same issue.

mine also rubs and scuffed the wheel a bit but at 500 miles all is still fine.

Ok, confirmed my hunch.

I think I'll pull the deflector and trim about 1" off of it just to be sure.

Thanks.

Never installed one

Bret melted some drivers once in July after 10 miles of dirt so they started putting deflectors on. Do not see the need.

1 Are you going to drive you 20 K turbo on dirt for 10 miles ? NO I hope not .

I took a cutting bit and a burr tonight and cut about a 1"x2" semi-eliptical section of the deflector off tonight. Didn't even take it out of the sled.

Should have no problem clearing the anti-stab wheel now and the driver is still protected.
