Anyone know where I could find a remimgton 700 police .338 lapua.Nobody seems to have one in stock.

I guess these guns are being held up permanently at the border something to do with Obamas new legislations, and now we cant get them in Canada.So now instead of buying one for 1300 bucks its gonna cost 4-6 g to get one built.
I've never seen a Remington Police in 338 Lapua. 300 win mag and 300 ultr mag yes but never a 338 lapua. Is this something new from Remington? I'm not sure I have ever heard of a remington with that big of a bolt face unless it was a custom.
And you might not ever if you live in Canada and Obama has his way.
See you really do learn something new every day. I've even looked on Remingtons Law Enforcement site and never seen one of those. Very cool. One of the best things about the 338 lapua caliber is you can use Lapua brass which is the very best brass I have ever used. I'm having a 243 improved built just because I can get 243 lapua brass not because I think it's the best in the 6mm class.
Its only around a 1000 bucks too.Must gun shops have them on order in Alberta but I heard they will not be makin it too their shelves cause of new US laws coming in on exporting guns from US.I might have to go with a sako trg-42 since they must come from finland but they cost like 3500 buxs.If they are available I havnt checked yet.
Wholesale sports in Edm has two Sako trg-42 in 338 laqua. as of friday..
