Subject: The Gun Ban list is out.
Here it is folks, and it is bad news. The framework for legislation is always laid, and the Democrats have the votes to pass anything they want to impose upon us. They really do not believe you need anything more than a brick to defend your home and family. Look at the list and see how many you own. Remember, it is registration, then confiscation. It has happened in the UK, in Australia, in Europe, in China, and what they have found is that for some reason the criminals do not turn in their weapons, but will know that you did. Please send this to everyone you can. It will come up for a vote, and it might even be a secret vote if Madame Pelosi has her way, and then it will be a done deal. ...thanks to Colonel Rus...Hal.

Right to own a gun Remember, The first step in establishing a dictatorship is to disarm the citizens.

Subject: Gun Law Update by Alan Korwin, Democrats have already leaked a gun-ban list. Forward or send to every gun owner you know...Gun Law Update by Alan Korwin, Author Gun Laws of America. Jan. 5, 2008. Gun-ban list proposed. Slipping below the radar (or under the short-term memory cap), the Democrats have already leaked a gun-ban list, even under the Bush administration when they knew full well it had no chance of passage (HR 1022, 110th Congress) It serves as a framework for the new list the Brady's plan to introduce shortly. I have an outline of the Brady's current plans and targets of opportunity, It's horrific. They're going after the courts, regulatory agencies, firearms dealers and statutes in an all out effort to restrict we the people. They've made little mention of criminals. Now more than ever, attention to the entire Bill of Rights is critical. Gun bans will impact our freedoms under search and seizure, due process, confiscated property, states' rights, free speech, right to assemble and more, in addition to the Second Amendment. The Democrats current gun-ban-list proposal (final list will be worse):

Attorney General gets carte blanche to ban guns at will:

Under the proposal, the U.S. Attorney General can add any "semiautomatic rifle or shotgun originally designed for military or law enforcement use, or a firearm based on the design of such a firearm, that is not particularly suitable for sporting purposes, as determined by the Attorney General." Note that Obama's pick for this office (Eric Holder, confirmation hearing set for Jan. 15) wrote a brief in the Heller case supporting the position that you have no right to have a working firearm in your own home.

In making this determination, the bill says, "there shall be a rebuttable presumption that a firearm procured for use by the United States military or any federal law enforcement agency is not particularly suitable for sporting purposes, and a firearm shall not be determined to be particularly suitable for sporting purposes solely because the firearm is suitable for use in a sporting event." In plain English this means that ANY firearm ever obtained by federal officers or the military is not suitable for the public.

The last part is particularly clever, stating that a firearm doesn't have a sporting purpose just because it can be used for sporting purpose -- is that devious or what? And of course, "sporting purpose" is a rights infringement with no constitutional or historical support whatsoever, invented by domestic enemies of the right to keep and bear arms to further their cause of disarming the innocent.

Respectfully submitted, Alan Korwin, Author Gun Laws of America http://www.gunlaws.com/gloa.htm

if true it's a real good thing I don't own any guns.

I don't own any guns either. I don't like guns, never have, i feel that they are inherently unsafe and applaud any effort to remove them from society. I welcome these new laws and feel that we will be safer for them. We cannot allow the citizens of a country to run around wantonly killing each other and devestating the population of beautiful creatures that God put on this planet. Praise be to Allah that we finaly have a President that has the common sense to see that the second amendment applies to muskets, not so every redneck hillbilly can run around like Elmer Fudd blasting indescriminately around the forests with whatever gun that he saw in a Rambo movie.

You see, I support this legislation, so you can skip my house when it comes time to collect the weapons. that's my story, and I'm sticking to it. (and don't bother looking in my truck either)

What's going on down there?? I never thought I'd see the day that we had a more conservative government than our friends to the south.

If these f'n Dem clowns keep pushing all their bull$hit they are just engraving their own headstones. I would rather rebuild from a pile of ruble and dead bodies than put up with all the $hit they have in mind for this country. The only reason to take our weapons is to take our freedom.

As I read that I got mad. Then I remember it doesn't affect me, I GAVE all my guns away yesterday (see I need ammo, thread) Thing of the past now.. unless you guys have any ammo I'll buy it, you know, for future buys....

My honest opinion would probaby get me banned for awhile, same as many of us..

Things just get more wacky every day.

These crazy-azz libs are doing more AGAINST the working AMERICAN than doing something about the non-working illegals and violent offenders. I guess they'll just assume everyone w/ guns is a bad person. Fuktards.

You guys are our last hope in protecting us from the new world order, i just don't think you will be able to do it. They have disarmed every nation in the world, your the last to fall, although canada has not complied but we are just to small to make a difference. I never thought i would be saying this but Lord Help Us.

I have a couple, Pretty much had an idea on this list the last couple years. Their primary reason for some of the sporting verbage is to not allow the AR to continue due to stating that competition matches would consider it sporting and allow it to continue to sell. I'm not so sure they'll get it to pass. It's not a simple reissue of the Brady Bill (which never worked). And I think the sporting thing will bring up way too much opposition from sportsmen.

So reading that, if it fires a bullet, they can and will ban it.
Of cource the whole thing even if enacted will be tied up in courts for years, that and I HOPE they try to come to my house to take my guns away.

Bowsheet, hows it feel to be a victum?
To have to depend on everyone else for everything?
Reading your post is the reason criminals have no problem walking into people houses anymore. They know there are morons like you that demand the right to be totally defenceless.

As for the inherantly dangerous, OF COURCE THEY ARE. We can't protect ourselves from the government or the invaders from down south by throwing kisses and popcorn at em.

Now there is no need for name calling, he has just swayed by the media which has been controlled for years by these evil doers. But bottom line is you guys have to be strong never give up your guns, this is not going to be a good thing for Us and Canadian Citizens. This is going to be the worse thing that has ever happened to humanity. Your our last hope for protection, please please fight this dam thing.
