at what price?
$3800 if you draw montana tags or you could buy outfitters sponsered for a thousand more which would be around $4800 for a 5 day deer elk combo.
When is the end date to put in?
March 15 and if you draw the deer and elk is $643 and i was wrong outfitter sponsered went up this year to $1195
so it is a little more money. WEll i will talk to my dad and see if he wants to go.an then i will get back to you.

Archery Season for big game in Montana opens the first weekend in September. Rifle Season opens 6 weeks later. Although due to our climate changes, MTFWP is talking about extending or opening the season later in the year.
A few questions I would ask ANY outfitter is:
How was your success rate for hunting this year, and for their previous years.
Success rate should ONLY include Quality animals. Nobody wants to pay for a guided hunt and shoot a raggy 4 or 5 point.
Is it a 1 on 1 hunt, 2 on 1 ect.
Obveously where you will be hunting: Private land they have a lease on, or in the wilderness.

It is either bow or rifle. Seasons are not set but they run from September to end of November. Outfitters sponsered liscense are not for sure yet they keep wanting to go up its $3800 which includes 5 days of hunting. These are not wildernes hunts. You can apply by march 15 for non resident tags. If you draw this it is $643 for the tags. Thanks Travis
