guardmans burn down

i belonged to a nice guy we met today, they had a m1000 turbo go down too.beautiful day great snow a real bummer for them.

We were at the bottom of the hill when we saw the black smoke and flames. We headed straight up and the sled was on top of the snow. We stayed and talked with the guy. It was truly amaizing how fast it burned to nothing and how deep it melted in the snow. Something I never want to see again. He didnt seem to concerned about it. I just think of the mess he has to clean up now. He took alot of video as for proof to insurance and to Skidoo as he thinks its a fuel pump recall issue. He said he was going to take it in next week to have it done. Sad day for him.

No. I was on a white Pro and my buddy was on a m8. I think you were at the bottom of the hill as we came down and i asked if it was your buddy up top. I remember the red pro with the star decal from your pics.

oh yeah i remember you now, hope you had as good of a day as we did,i'd like to ride again but we had to go pretty far over towards snake creek to find good snow

That was the first time i've ridden back in there. I have been on the main trails for test and tune and break in miles, but never back in the bowls area. It was fun and challanging. I would like to get up there next year too.

i used to know guardsmans like the palm of my hand but stopped riding there years ago.i've rode it more this year though, but its been tough to remember how to get around .the place has some big hills.a lot of them are real scary to much for me and a stock sled i ride.

Savagerunner and I saw it when it first happened. Within in 5 min of it burning there was almost nothing left of it. This was my first time seeing a sled burn down. I'm not going to lie, it was kind of neat!

it is really amazing that a sled can burn so completely. there was no rubber plastic or aluminum left after burning for just minutes.as hot as that fire was i don't think anything would have put it out in time.

yes believe it,every thing burnt away fast.and it was still burning when we got there.
