Grooming at Tollgate

Why don't the trailfinders pass these machines onto a club that will actually use them. I don't think the ghost machines have been to woodland snowpark since thanksgiving. It is flat dangerous up here because most of these trials are one lane wide. If the people that are in charge of the groomers don't want to run them why not pass the torch to someone else.

I have to agree the trails need alot of grooming, I have been up during newyears: no groomed trails, ML King weekend: no groomed trails, and I we just got home from this weekend: very limited grooming done. I have young kids that are just learning, it makes for a long day riding 3' woops.

broke

Will be up there this coming weekend. Guess one groomer is down and other has limited capacity. They are trying to catch up with all the new snow.

It is a tuff job to keep things groomed so everyone is happy, with a volenter grooming staff. Then you put 4 feet of snow in the mix with a broke down groomer, well to say the least its tuff. We all like groomed trails, but Pissing about it does not help. Step up and go give them a hand! And until you donate your time to keep the trails groomed and the equipment running, you should just be thankfull that they are doing what they can. Also I would hope that you are at least a member of the trail finders?

Im not trying to ruffle, just saying. We have the same complants in our area. It is frustraighting to say the least, when people complain about the trails when they don't have all the info. Or for that matter don't even belong to the club. This is why we need members and we need those members to step up and give a hand. If every member helped one day a month, we would have more help than we know what to do with. But instead it is the same small amount of people that do all the work. Those people that come to the monthly club meeting are usally the ones that help and do the work!

So why do you think we need to belong to a club to enjoy these trails. Everytime you buy a license you help pay for these groomers. I understand this is a volunteer position but everytime someone new wants to help they kind of push them away. I have snowmobiled up there for 20 yrs plus and this is the worst I have ever seen it. There is always some bs excuse. If the groomer that they used last week doesn't work very good why didn't they take the alternator from that one and put it on the other one. I personally have had it with all this clubs bs. They act more like a private country club then a public one. Two machines and some of the roughest trails in the state?

Trails

Well said Tim. Why dont I see any of you other guys posting up your name and phone numbers in this post??? Personally I think the trails are gtarbage and I now have a bent tunnel on my 2012 RMK Assault that only has 290 mile on it and from what the dealers are saying it's most likley from overly rough trails!!!! My guess is the 17 mile whoop section from spout to Bone Springs Last Wednesday. Just my .02 have a good week hopefully this grooming situation gets better.

Complaint departmemnt if you dont like my post 509-492-1447 Jeff
