Gripper mountain skis 09 vs 11+?

Ok, so i am looking at doing the gripper ski setup on my cat. I happened to find a set of gripper skis off a 09 dragon rmk, but it looked like the guys where using generally using pro chassis grippers. They show a different part number from polaris, but look identical. Any thoughts guys?

Thanks,
Dakota

Not quite identical...

I was thinking of swapping skis from my Pro back to my Dragon, talked to my dealer (Kurts Polaris), apparently the difference is on the Pro they went metric, so the bolt size and bushing size are slightly different where they mount to the spindle. I can't tell you what the measurements are, I suspect not that much different, but if you want a snug fit on them I would recommend making sure they are the right size for your sled, or at least make sure you can adapt them and make them work.

Correct, starting with Model Year '11 they changed to metric. Pre MY '11 was 3/8"; MY '11 + is 10mm, so just a shade over 1/64" larger. This only affected the ski bolt bushings as the rest of the hardware is still SAE. If you need the metric bushings; I have about two dozen take offs (4 per sled, two per ski). As I replaced all mine with Alt Impacts Titanium offering as they are cheaper than the stock Polaris steel bushings and half the weight.
