Grip heaters barely working Low AC voltage

Since new I have been trying to diagnose a set of hand warmers that to not work well on my 2015 RMK 800 LE snowcheck. With 0 degree weather being the norm lately this has become an issue. Checking at idle, the 800 is (11-13.2 VAC), on my wife's 600 Pro it is (13.8-14.6) low AC voltage would explain a handwarmer performance issue.

DC voltage on the 800 seems to be fine at 14.2, there are no running issues. I have checked/moved the ground several times with no change. The grips heaters were replaced when I corked the bars last year, they still ohm out at .192.

Can anyone post a ohm/procedure/test for the stator, I am out of ideas to look at, any input would be appreciated.

I hear you about the poor heat problem but it seems as all the Pros and especially the AXYS sleds have cold bars. The AXYS being worse as they shut off the grips at idle. Some cork the bars but this is makes the grip fatter and not as comfortable for some.
I am seriously thinking about drilling the bar internally and installing the old style internal heaters as well and have double the heat source. Not sure if this would make the bars too weak though?

At least the aluminum wouldn't suck away the heat so fast if they were warmed from the inside.

I foamed inside mine. It made little difference so I corked them. Made a huge difference. It does make grip larger which I didn't think I would like but its fine even with my small grips. Only need light gloves even on cold days and never on high. Too hot. Glad I did it.

Grip Heaters

Thanks for the replys, I corked my wife's 6 and this 800 and the same time last year (with new polaris elements), her grips get Hot!!, mine do not. The difference is the AC voltage output is 1-1.5 VAC lower on my 800 RMK LE. The stock system is more than capable if working correctly.

Any ideas for additional diagnostics appreciated. Troubleshooting flowchart for stator would be my next step if anyone could post it.

Thanks in advance

Google? ;)

I'm going to say you should get it covered under warranty.
My oem axys handwarmers get so hot i end up turning them off. Even at 29*f below zero.
