Grip glue

What is everyone using to keep their handle bar grips in place? I bought the fancy $10 RSI glue. Lasted 1 ride and they were loose again. Guessing moisture + handle bar warmers didn't go so well together. I've since then put in the E6000 glue and have rode 1 time. All is good now. Not sure how long it's going to last though. Has anyone else been successful in a different grip glue out there?

I know it sounds silly, but I always used white rain (cheap hairspray) and it worked GREAT for me. I use ODI clamp on DH grips now just for ease of replacement when I want to switch, but the hairsprayed grips never moved on me.

I used pro-taper's glue it works really well...it is more or less just a name brand super-glue...and you better be fast when replaceing grips:face-icon-small-sho

I found the RSI's got so hot, the only thing that worked for me was JB Weld. It won't be fun if I have to remove them but at least they won't move on me while riding.

I have used RSI grip glue on two sleds. 1000s of miles on each without problems.
Setup on one sled was renthal bars, rsi heaters, rsi grips other sled was the same but with RSI bars.

I have also used scott grip glue on stock steel bars and it worked fine.

Never put grips on a sled, but only safety wire on my dirt bike. Same for my father-in-law who has been on bikes for 30 plus years, and he's never had issues.
