Dan Ross from the snojammers club that built the cabin and I went up to the cabin and cleaned out the stack and cap.got pics of all the trash,will post later.some prick dumped one of the trash bags on the floor and took the bag.those bags shouldn't be there anyway.PACK IT IN PACK OUT.It looks terrible.if anyone goes today,could you bring a 30gal bag?its all swept into a pile rather than scattered through out the cabin.we didn't have any way to bag it up.adults acting like kids stuffing trash between the rounds that are stacked in the cabin and outside.disrespectful bastages.snow is going fast.gotta ride the shoulder from the sno park clear to the Y.spotty to cell tower.ok from there.

Thanks for your efforts, looks like it time to mount a Go-Pro up in the corner to see who's doing this, although they'd probably destroy that too. I've never been there, but I have been to places similar and they were treated much in the same way, doesn't say much for the snowmobiling community, when a few make us all look bad. Come on people you know who you are, pack it or loose it (daycare for adults)

tHEY DIDN'T BUILD THE CABIN THEY MIGHT HAVE BEEN INVOLVED IN HELPING BUILD THE NEW ONE WITH THE FOREST SERVICE,BUT THERE WAS ALL READY A CABIN UP THERE , THEY BUILT THIS TO REPLACE THE OLD TRAPPER CABIN ,THAT CABIN WAS ACUALLY BUILT IN TOWN AT THE OLD FROEST SERVICE BUILDING IN ENUMCLAW IN THE LATE 1980'S THEN TAKEN UP LATER. AND YES THE CREEPS THAT KEEP WRECKING IT SHOULD HAVE THEIR BUTTS KICK. JUST A LITTLE CABIN INFO.THNKS FOR THE HELP UP THERE.

15 day update.......................................heat and rain

started snowing again 2-7-11.

It doesnt matter who built it..that sure isnt the point and leave the CAPS off please.

I have been seeing cabin abuse for years in Washington. Had an idiot named Pyro in Wenatchee, that would ride by his lonely ugly self at night. He would get drunk as a skunk go to one of the cabins and build a fire so big the stove pipe would glow orange. That is how we found him passed out once. He burnt down one of the other old turn old turn of the century cabins prior to that along with all the trash he would leave behind.

Maybe I just get lucky, but when I have been in Idaho and BC all the cabins were clean. Maybe they are on a schedualed cleanup route or something.

Guys..if you see your friends leaving SShhiitt behind have them pick it up. Say something to them or take the stuff and shove it up their exit pipe so they can get it home.

We dont have the best of cabins in WA except in a few certain areas so we need to try to keep what we have. There may be a time in a white out condition (maybe not this year) where you may have to hunker down for the night for some unforseen reason and I sure as hell wouldnt want to sleep in the GC cabin as filthy as it gets at times....smelt like urine the last time I was in there with toilet paper on the ground inside? wtf..someones girlfriend or some guy with a Pu.....y oh you get the idea.

If we all just do a bit more than we have been it will help keep things friendly...Thanks guys for giving this a try.

I dont ride up in that area but I appreciatte the fact that you guys put in the time and effort to do a good thing for the snowmobile community.I actually had my son read this post to prove a point about doing the right thing,thanks again.

anybody have cabin info/history to give credit where credit is due, and that goes to the people who have kept looking nice since its been built? and why do we even put trash bags in there, we are trying to promote pack it in pack it out and yet we leave a place to put it....
