tried to get to Whistlin jacks on wendsday night

Skip and I tried, We we had a good time but didnt make it over, snowing hard all night, We figured we go to jacks for chineese food, About a foot and a half up on top of pyramid, no problem we blew right thru the snow with our crew cab chevy's but we we sure had to cut a lot of trees out of the road, Nobody had been up since monday (absolutely no snow) Just out of the upper main snopark we started running into trees across the road, we managed to cut our way up and over the top and partially down twards the nachess when we finally gave up, I just didnt bring a big enough chain saw. We must have cut 25 to 30 trees . Had a great time anyways,

11/23/10

We had a nice little break-in road ride on Saturday. There was a couple feet to play around in at the cabin.

Great road riding in deep powder!

Rode Greenwater today. Unloaded at the junction of forest service 70 and hwy 410 (parking lot just up the road from the turnoff.) Fresh tracks all the way up 70 and over naches pass and then most the way back up the otherside not quite to government meadows. 16 inches of snow at the bottom of 70 increasing up to 2 1/2 feet just below the meadows. Great rode riding but still not enough snow to risk going off the trail. BTW -the gate is still locked that allows you to go the last mile to government meadows (you can't get around it and you won't fit under it.) The snow was mostly bottomless powder.

We barely made it under that gate last Saturday (folding our mtn bars) but it didn't matter anyway as we had to turn around halfway from the gate to the cabin because of all the downed trees. We took the Naches Trail to the cabin. Sounds like a whole lot more snow up there now.

Did 70 miles up there today, snow has settled down to about 18" with the warmer temps but still snowing and alot more on the way!

70 miles by 100pm right

thats right your on doo mileage:D.

i made it to the snow park.studded a/t.its fluffy and throws ya around a little.dont have open container or 3/4 cup of coffee in the cup holder.basicaly 1 1/2 lane passing, someones in the past axle fluff.gettin slick

2 decks and one 2 place at park.the 2 place had street tires and a broke poo made it a little ruffer following him up the 12 prcnt out.

dually and lifted with enclosed at the bunny bend accross from grannys chitter at the bottom.smart move.

the dually was new and so were the sleds so he didnt want to risk going to far.

i wouldve took him to the top in a 85 chevy 3/4 ton live front axle, but there wouldve been a mess on my seat.i shouldve just chained up the ol girl and towed his truck and trailer up.j/k David
