Subj: Lots of trees down on the 70 road
Sent: 3/2/2011 12:25:15 P.M. Pacific Standard Time
THIS IS A POST FROM THE JET JOHNSON BOYS:
There were a lot of trees down on the upper part of the 70 road, and now with the wind blowing like crazy, the Forest Service told him that a lot more of them have come down on the lower part of the 70 road. When the windstorm finally blows itself out, we will probably need some help to cut out all the downed trees so that Ron can get the road plowed at least to the start of the bypass. (where the snopark currently is)
If you are helping get the trees cut out, please remember to cut them off back at the ditch line at least. And throw the cut pieces back into the woods. We need to make sure that we don't bury uncut, or even cut pieces of wood in the snow on the side that Ron will need to plow off. If he starts hitting wood with the plow, he won't be able to get the road cleared off, and we don't want to end up like we did a few years ago with a single track in to the snopark.
Thanks for any help, and stay safe.
