Greenwater ride New Year's Day... the saga continues

As with every Greenwater trip it starts out with Graveler working on the Chevy.....

Workingonthechevy001.jpg

I don't even ask why anymore..

Workingonthechevy003.jpg

Then we see why the road is all clogged up.... Downed trees everywhere. The plow guy runs out of chainsaw gas and oil. We park just off of 410 ..about 8.8 miles shy of the snopark. It's always interesting looking at the fear in peoples eyes when you tell them they have to back their trailer out 2 miles.... LMAO!

Then alleycat decides to try and run me off the road.... Here is proof that even an M1000 shouldn't mess with an M7. Too bad I don't have video of him flying off the sled at 40 mph.

Hey look.... The infamous grooming machine at Greenwater broken down... again. I'm fed up with listening to all of you people that still make excuses for this... Every year it's the same thing. I don't care if it's your second job or not and how grooming is a thankless job...blah blah blah... Give me a break. If you can't do the job, then don't bid on it..... you're not doing anybody any favors by continuing this mess. Parking the groomer all summer long and just installing a new battery at the start of the season is not maintaining your equipment.

Freezing rain at 4500' sucks

Graveler stuck...

Rubber mallet to the rescue....

That looks like a polaris gas can on graveler sled. Pryamid pass all blowed out, nothihg new.

Glad to see the poparazi was busy getting pictures for us to look at.

The road is a massive mess from that picture.

I could see the look on some of the people's faces when you tell them they are backing out with a trailer for 2 miles--LMAO---Love my sled deck:)

Gravy--not a good place to be stuck dude.

H20SKE...

Thanks for the pics but please in the future give some thought to the Butt shots you choose share with the forum. The #70 road in looks a mess. Tried to get up there early afternoon yesterday but state patrol was turning people around at mud mountain Rd. Too many trees down on 410. Looks like the M7 is trenched down on the switch backs half way up the hill to the cabin.

A glorious documentation that makes me feel as I was there...

I assume the groomer doesn't get paid if he breaks...That in itself would have me livid if I was that guy.
I would want my equipment dialed in for peak operating performance within the season.

One final thought - The Silverado needs zirk fittings on the hood hinges...

Keep the story coming, it is good entertainment.

It's NOT worse... My biatch was so much bigger than yours. is to... is to... is to...

And as soon as I locate a feeling that got hurt, it'll show that I care.:face-icon-small-sho:rolleyes:;):p

Broke down groomer...

Same friggen story, Different friggen year.

The only thing that POS groomer is good for (After a little more snow)
will be a nice jump.
Someone's going to have to build a sweet kicker on it though.:D

Seriously Fordy...
The Goomer Groupies are going to jump all over your azz for telling the truth here.
Don't you know that's a taboo subject here. You're not allowed to have an opinion on it.

funny how he tears off the door just to get a picture, but I am worried that along with my hood up my flaps down and he was right there to get the shot!!! and it was only water in the fuel!!!!!

from now on I am going to bring up the rear so I can get a few "shots"
in!!!

this is greens pass, the hard soft snow with Ice made it a little dicey trying to side hill the thing!!!

With all the high avy dangers right now that was really a bad place to be stuck there Art.

I can't be the only one thinking this?

Anyway...
Did you two get all the way over Green's?
Are all the trees grown up too much at that little play area up at the top, off to the left after you round the bend that's always drifted out with the looong drop if you lose it sidehilling?

I remember years ago playing in drifts up there one time that were like waves in that little clearing. One right after another and they were so light and not packed down at all that you could blast right through them, over your head going up the hill but you could catch a little air going over them on the way back down.

Do these pants make my azz look big??:D
