Greenwater Parking and Grooming

I have seen bits and pieces on different threads about the snowpark at Greenwater being different this year. I am headed up for the first time this year and wondered what the deal is? Still go up and turn around at the lot and park there if there is room and if not then down along the road?

Does anyone know the grooming schedule? Thanks!

Road ends way before the "parking lot" Grooming starts @ the bypass where the road climbs after taking a hard right. Some spots are getting low on snow, bit overall it is better than staying home. Grooming schedule is posted on the state parks site. I know they do the main fs70 on Friday, they were grooming while we were there.

Yes... the snowpark is before the 'matterhorn'... the hilly bypass road that was put in a few years ago...

the road to the pyramid creek snowpark was also plowed Sunday... as was the 70 road up...

We'd much rather ride that stretch of road on the sled than in the motorhome...

If you are headed up this coming weekend, The Sno-Jammers are having a Fun / Poker Run up there. I would guess that it will be crazy for parking...

We will have sno-jammers/rangers directing trafic up at sno-park for fun/poker run this weekend as for grooming 70,7065,horsecamp,789,an pyrimd pass an 1900 rd on fri for fun run
