greenwater gates

I am planning on heading up to green water tomorrow (friday) and wondered if anyone had parking information. Which spot will I be parking at?
Thanks:face-icon-small-dis

Parking is at the Pyramid Creek Sno-Park (upper lot) There was a little snow at the top of the 12% and about 2 inches in the parking lot. There will be road plowing in the morning to make sure you can get to the upper lot.

And if you did go up fri 3-22-2013 you picked the perfect powder day and good visability day and hardly anyone sledding, sorry we tore up so much of the powder that day. lol and we did it again 3-23 also but lots more sleds.

Sorry for the late reply but Friday was insane. It was lightly snowing with up to 2 feet of new fluffy stuff with a solid base under it. We were the first up to the cabin and only saw tracks on our way back at the end of our ride. Should still be some spots of untracked snow. Basically we were breaking trail all day with mostly sunny skies. Parked at upper lot. We hit the hills by the rocks southeast of the cabin and spent 2 plus hours there climbing and side hilling. Best day of the year for me

Ya i would have told you more but was not shure how much it was going to snow at gate wed/thur and if they would close it off, we actually were the 1st ones in upper lot (both the 1 ton dually's) we went to sawmill ridge area first and tore it up for 1 to 2 hrs and then came back to find they plowed the road but did leave 1 strip to get sleds back up road.
then we attacked the meddows and kept tearing it up where ever we went thruout the day, only stuff deeper and lighter was back on dec 22 i believe, so i am shure you had a great day fri, and we did sat also with a big group and great time no clouds wow. and there is never any powder in western washington :face-icon-small-win.

anyone know where i can find snow?maybe greenwater, corral pass maybe blewett.thanks

still snow at greenwater but suspect will be driving up the road a bit from here on out to get to it and not groomed either , just have to look for turn around spots for bigger trailers or backup aways.

just went up to greenwater 4-13-13 and what a surprize lots of new kind of powdery snow again and alot deeper than i would have suspected, was able to go from snowpark also but there was 2 trucks up about 1/2 mile and turned around at first hairpin , there was lesser ammounts of snow in places but when we returned another 4 in or so had accumulated so sunday should be good, road was ok but best bring chains for just in case as it was still snowing heavy at times when we left, also sorry about screwing up so much powder too expecially with the 2 new kids that went along today :face-icon-small-hap, 1 word of caution though on the steeper hills look like they might slide a bit if pushed, snow was western wa. powder a little heavy but go anywhere stuff, enjoy.
