GREENWATER 70 ROAD CLOSED TODAY

Just got a call from the groomer / snowplow contractor, there was a mud slide this morning on the by pass road (Matterhorn) on the back side of the 12% going down. A few rigs are "trapped" up there and cannot get outl. Nobody hurt or anything, just mud over the road, the forest service is working on getting some equipment up there to get them out. GREENWATER CLOSED TODAY, Sunday the 16th, Just for info

I got a call from my son who is a board instructor at crystal and 410 is covered with water,its closed to all traffic before greenwater at federation state park. I am guessing the white river came out of its bank at the low corner, dont know but the state phone recording says closed because of water. Bunch of stuck peple now.

Road open

Just spoke to the Forest Service. They had a contractor in yesterday and got it cleaned up. (They may still be placing boulders in the slide area, but should be done soon)
Hopefully the road also gets plowed and reopened all the way to to the snopark. (no confirmation on that yet)
