Greenwater 3/14/15

Drove up 70 road, got almost all the way to the top of pyramid pass in my truck. there is just no snow :/ I turned around on that long straight before Gov meadows. safe to say i think the season might be over. the snow that was on the road had been all rutted out from jeeps, and in the ruts was running water.

if no more significant snow fall accumulates soon, 410 is scheduled to open april 3rd, and Cayuse pass the 27th of this month for those who haven't heard, both dates will be a record for early opening

rode greenwater the 17th

parked on the straightaway before the meadows was solid ice went to cabin and drag raced in the second meadow that was all just had to see what it was like even seen mountain goats running down the 70 road below the second pit that made the day but yes not worth the time unless u just want to open it up one last time

I drove up yesterday just to check it out cuz I was down there. Air force was riding bikes/utvs out of pyramid creek lot. Drove up to 4.5k ft where the snow line was. No snow below that, but you can easily drive up to it. I didn't go past there to see what it was like, but I don't think its probly worth it. Jeeps had rutted up the snow covered roads pretty bad.

I can post some pics if you'd like.

Sorry I was out riding all day yesterday so didn't see your posts till now.

Here is where the naches trail splits off at about 3k ft.

And where the snow seemed to start getting consistent, I stopped here as the snow was pretty rutted. About 4.5k ft, but it is an easy drive in.
