GREEN WATER UPDATE FOR THE WEEKEND

Rode yesterday at green water, our usuall run to jacks run, rode was blocked off at the bottom of the matterhorn, (by pass), parked on the 70 road, road in from there, the road in is pretty ugly, bare pavement, lots of iced and some slush, I my self probably would not go back unless we get some snow or they open the road back up, we scraped a "lot of pavement" with our skis ect. I would think anyone who wants to drive up farther will indeed need chains, there was one black ford crewcab up at the main snopark who got in with chains on the front. The nachess side is very ruff, no grooming all week, warm and wet over there also, Pretty hard to groom in this kind of weather , we'd be wasting money. I dought they will groom till it gets colder, just my opinion

Thanks for the update. We might just have to be a little patient with the weather and conditions. Hard to do after buying some new gear, mods and upgrades to the machine.

Curiosity - was it blocked due to vehicles or the FS baracaded it?

I'll reserve my opion of the FS making the judgement ( or dictating ) how far in one can drive until I hear the answer !
