Green Canyon???

I'm taking my brother in law out tomorrow and thought Green Canyon would be a good place to take him since there's some fun stuff to play in but rideable for a novice. Has anyone been up recently and what are the conditions? If anyone else wants to meet up we'll be in a maroon duramax with my black M1000 and a rented RMK 700.

Rode Green Canyon today and it was great. Like always the tops of the ridges were wind-blown and some rocks were showing. Snow was fairly deep, found some good pockets of powder with a good base throughout. The cornices were all pretty soft so you couldn't get big air coming down because the track wouldn't stay on top, but they're perfect for coming up. I'll get some photos up soon from some of the action. Only saw 2 other groups all day, it was just what the doctor ordered.

Rode green canyon on saturday it was good snow a little moist down low but got good powder up high really couldn't play on tower mountain as the fog was very thick but the meadows were good .

That's one problem with Green Canyon. It seems like it is always snowing or foggy.

The snowing don't bother me to bad but the fog sure really sucks.

No this green canyon is over by newdale and tetonia west of rexburg on hwy 33.

That makes more sense.. I didnt think this green canyon would be that good of riding..
