Great day on the XM

Honestly I've been luke warm on the XM. Just couldn't seem to get comfortable on it. Today it all changed. Not sure what adjustment made the difference but here's what I did. After reading some other posts I reluctantly decided to pull my riser back in line with the angle of the steering post. I thought I would hate it but it seemed to work great. I also removed to sway bar, set my front shocks at 2 and the rear sissor at 3. Anyway, I'm pumped now about this chassis. Climbed lots of steep terrain today in deep snow in tight trees. The thing just ripped. Slight body movements and you can change direction so quick its insane. Can't wait for tomorrow.

Couple shots from today

I am very happy with mine as well. Almost 500 miles and just keeps getting better.

Got on my bros 08 XP yesterday (after 1 year off of my 07 XRS)... When I told him there was something wrong with his steering he said it was normal. Then I got back on mine and it was like the steering was broken it was do light, lol. These XM's are do effortless. I don't remember seeing one '13 Pro bustin' out button hook u turns (on any slope) like I could.

I LOVE THIS SLED! AND IT PULLS HARD!!

Got another good ride on mine today. Was up by Mt. Jefferson. Sorry no pics. Pulled the sway bar set the front shocks at 4.
I think it burned the chip today. It only has 68 hard miles on it? It may have been the snow conditions? It was climbing like someone else stated on here.
(like a billy goat).
Happy with my purchase.:bounce:

Happy with mine also. Haven't pulled the sway bar yet; so far it handles awesome. Might move my riser in line with the post and try it for a ride.

This sled rips and its still running rich from the break in.

No kidding on the front shocks at 4 huh? Mine came from the dealer at 1 and I cranked them up to 3 but it seemed to ride way to stiff so I went back down to 2.

Anyone sucking the limiter strap up at all? When climbing with mine in powder it is fine but as soon as I grab a track for traction it is skis in the air.

limiter strap / ski's

I have about 100 miles on now. I sucked up the limiter one hole, front end stayed down much better. Set my shocks at 2. I also moved the skis to the outside on the last ride Saturday and the sled does not seem to roll over near as easy. Not sure if it was snow conditions or not, but I will be the skis back inside. Anyone else moved the ski's around to see how it rides? Boondocking was not near as easy with the skis outside.
