Greasing jackshaft

Yes you can use any Grease you want!

But a Low temp Grease will work better! ;)

I am taking it that the Manuel that came with the sled you never Read it??!!!

Read it!! It tells you all this info!
 
UH... call me dense... but what grease-point are you talking about??

The jackshaft bearing on the PRO RMK is sealed and non-greaseable.

Here is a pic of the Jackshaft on a PRO... Is this what you are talking about, or another part?:face-icon-small-con

I was talking about just the shaft where the secondary mounts to. I pulled the secondary, and the shaft looked to be greased from the factory, no?

Any bearing grease or anti seize will work. Just put a dab on it and make sure it covers all of the splines and that's all you have to do. It makes the secondary much easier to get off for service. I had an older Cat in my shop this past winter that was so frozen on, I ended up having to cut the shaft off and then put the secondary in a 20 ton press to get it out of the secondary. The jackshaft bearing was shot so I had no choice.
