Grease fitting

i went to grease the sled today and here is what i noticed...Dunno if anyone else has had the same issue and if u did,how did u fix that?...You can see the grease coming outta the bottom and left side of the fitting...So no grease is getting down the shaft as it all comes out...Dunno if polaris will warranty it or is it even worth taking in....Looking for some advice,Thanks

yeah the bung the zirk is threaded into is not sealing to the cross shaft
you could remove it and tack weld around it better but thats a pain in the ars
if your dealer is close tell them to fix it and if they won't the tell them to document it and if you have any issues down the road

My 08 dragon had the same issue, the outer cross shaft was not drilled all the way through, the grease just squirted back out. I removed the zerk and completed drilling the hole, worked fine afterwards.
 
I found the exact same problem on my 11 Assault.

I had the suspension apart so I just put grease in the shaft before mounting it together.

Not sure how to do it now, I think using some high strenght silicone on the bad weld might work.

I mean really Polaris, that is an easy one to spot. I can't believe that got through.

If that were me I'd take it in and show the dealer and have the part replaced under warranty.

Too much trouble .I just threaded it back in straight this time,not crooked and only part way in like it came.
