Grandview Friday 2-1

Rode Grandview from the "B" today along with dozens of others. If you are thinking about it for Saturday, here is my $.02: The road is AWFUL... 5 miles of 10 mph bumps. The snow was very heavy and dense. Not the powder we were expecting. It will make for a great base for the next round of storms. Things were pretty stable. We saw no AVY activity at all. The bowls are all tracked out and most of the trees too. The riders that were up there were hittin it pretty hard. Overall, kind of a let down since the snow was so heavy and the base isnt very deep yet. In fact, most of the guard rails on the road were still visible. Hope this helps...Ride on.

no avy activity? saw lots of storm snow sluffage, but no slab activity. snow went from waist deep on wednesday to packed on friday...
