Grand Mesa Riders FYI

Most of us know where the cross-country areas are, so this is for those who don't. Be aware of them and how to pass through them. We don’t need access to areas closed because of mouth breathers. I would say it was a fairly written article saying the majority of snowmobiles are not to blame, just a few that may not know where they are, or don’t care. If you’re one of those that doesn’t care.. I hope you get a ticket, and I hope it's expensive :face-icon-small-coo

Doesn't the trail north of the Highway at Lands End, that heads to the Cottonwoods and Hidden Valley, intersect the cross country trail??? I have only ridden that area once.

Yep, two crossings heading towards the Cottonwoods. When you leave Lands End and get into the first big meadow you will some signage to the right about 100 yards out that defines the boundary. I don't believe that there are any problems created when you ride some of fresh that is adjacent to the trail however the bisecting X-country trails can come up on you pretty fast. Just be aware when riding in that area, slow down and cross the X-country trails at the designated X-ing. We are very lucky on Grand Mesa as it is a prime example where multiple use works, with very few conflicts.
